Hi. My name is Honey Bii. Most people would start off with why they intend to blog, what most of the topics will be about, and so on. All that I can say is that get ready for a roller coaster ride. I am BLUNT. Almost to a fault. I want this to be an "open diary" type read. Feel free to input ideas and and ask for advice. I know that I don't know everything, but I do know somethings.
I want to share a positive light on being a black OPEN lesbian woman in the United States. I want to be that voice that is being neglected in the media. When I look at main stream television I see no one like me. I see no one that isn't over sensationalized for being gay. Most importantly I want to show my journey to self awareness. Everyone should realize that there are so many of us out there and we need a positive spokes person that we can turn to. I am willing to take on that responsibility. If I can help just one black gay female come into her sexuality openly then I will be forever grateful.
